Acupuncture

anybody ever try it? does it work?

Back on Christmas Eve we went sledding and I wiped out pretty bad and messed up my shoulder. (it's actually around the shoulder blade in the back) I have been going to the chiropractor a few times a week since and it's not getting better. The last 2 weeks were the worst. I was in constant pain. I even went and got a couple massages, at the urging of my chiropractor, with no relief. Now he is recommending acupuncture. A few days ago I was stretching and something popped and now it feels alot better. Now it hurts in the mornings when I get up but gets better as the day goes on. I haven't been back to see the chiropractor since it popped but I know I should. no pain doesn't necessarily mean it's better.

Anybody have experience with acupuncture or know someone who has done it? I'm really, really not a needle person, but at this point I'll try about anything

My oldest sister tried it. She's not a needle person either, but she said it really helped with her neck and back pain.

One of my clients has it done to her dog regularly. I've really seen a difference for the better in the dog since he started.

My sister has MS and most days has a hard time keeping her balance and walking without her legs giving out. She has been doing for acupunture for about a month and is walking so much better and her legs are stronger than they have been in years.

For that reason alone I would recommend that you at least give it a try.
