I've lost about 4 or 5 kilos (maybe more dunno) and I've made a big change in my life.
My ex helped me out when I told him that for the life of me I can't eat breakfast. He went and bought me Optifast. It's a protein shake (I can hear dirty minds snickering :p) that you have as a meal replacement. I just have it in the morning as my breakfast and then I hit the rec centre to do one hour of aquarobics + laps of the pool for either half an hour or an hour (freestyle as much as I can)
I have for my meals, healthy stuff, like chicken breast and salad, brown rice, soups that I make myself which are full of veges and beans and no fat..
I drink heaps of water too.
Recently I realised that if one practically starves themself, then the body goes into self defence mode and holds on to the fat. That means too few calories can actually stop you from losing weight!
If the body doesn't feel starved, the fat cells will release the fat.
I snack on fruit and veges only. Usually just before and after lunch.
And no way will I cut down on my coffee.. no sugar though and lite milk.
I joined the website sparkpeople.com which has absolutely amazing functions. I record my exercise, my diet, my pics and get heaps of info and support. I'm not Cheyenne61 there though. If you want to see my profile page, pm me :)
