Curry kills some cancer cells
There is more evidence of the healing power of a chemical found in yellow curry.
Research done at the Cork Cancer Research Centre in England shows curcumin, which is what gives curry the yellow color can kill some cancer cells in a lab within 24 hours.
The goal is now to use these properties to develop new treatments.
The chemical is already being touted as a treatment for arthritis and dementia.
The study is in the British Journal of Cancer.
