I was going to work when I heard the news on the radio. I really could not believe it. All I could think was "How could that happen?" I was working as a digitizer at an embroidery & silkscreening business then. Everyone was quiet all day, we just listened to the reports on the radio. Although we felt like our world had ended, outside the world kept going & we had deadlines to meet, but even the embroidery machines stopped when there was a new update. It wasn't until I got home that I saw the pictures, I watched & wept for a long time. I still cannot see pictures of that day without crying.
