comfort foods for stress relief

been reading about comfort foods in wikipedia......says that people turn to certain foods in times of stress based on simplicity & pleasant associations (kinda like a security blanket they said)........

the article went on to list various comfort foods such as macaroni & cheese, peanut butter, chips....etc.....all loaded with carbs.....the article said comfort foods might vary from region to region & country to country but they all had one thing in common......carbs.....

so someone in the south may have a different comfort food than someone up north....or someone in the usa might not like the same thing an australian likes.....

but some things are universal.......such as my all time favorite: chocolate.....nothin' like releasing a few endorphines to cheer ya up....
